Newspapers
- Which daily newspapers (if any) do you read?
- Q1. I don't read newspapers normally.
- What sections of newspapers do you turn to first, and why?

- Do you look at the online versions of any newspapers? Which newspapers? Why do you visit their website and not others?

Magazines
- What magazines (if any) do you buy regularly? Why/why not?
- I don't buy any magazines
- What sections of the magazines do you read and not read, and why?
Television
- Approximately how many hours a week do you spend watching television?
- I'm not sure.
- What device do you use to watch television?
- I watch Television on the TV
- What times of day do you usually watch television?
- When I get home from school sometimes and in the evenings during dinner time
- What programmes do you like best and why?
- I really like soap dramas/Teen soap like "Smallville, Gilmore girls and Outer banks" because they are repetitive and you get to grow with the characters and their dilemmas. I also really like anime as well as comedies and cartoons as I feel like they immerse you into a different universe and their very funny.
- Do you watch alone or with others? If you watch with others, who decides what you will watch?
- It depends on if my parents are working we watch movies and tv shows together, we all have similar tastes in movies and shows so we all decide together or recommend things to each other while we have dinner together or just want to relax. On the weekends we go to the cinema and watch a movie or do movie marathons in the holidays.

- I watch on-demand Tv using sites like Netflix, Disney plus, and Prime video
- Sometimes I use my phone to watch anime that's not on Netflix. I don't watch live TV
Radio

- Sometimes

- I really like the ones where people just have the most random conversations about different things. So talk radio I also like capital one for music

- Yess!

- I listened to the Psych2Go podcast recently

- On Public transport and on walks, so morning and afternoon

- Public transport and parks ect

- Go on walks and travelling

- My dad does, he listens to podcasts, usually very early in the morning when he wakes up around 4-5am maybe?
Film
- What films have you seen in the cinema in the last month?
- I watched the Odyssey, Spider-man: Brand new day

- I watched Twilight and some of Avatar
- Who else watched the films with you?
- I watched twilight by myself and I watched a part of Avatar with my mum

- My mum was already watching Avatar in her room. I watched Twilight by myself but a friend was watching it at the same time at her house funnily

- I watch films on the TV
Online

- Everyday
- Where do you access the internet? At home, at school, commuting etc.

- Whatsapp, snapchat, Instagram Google or Ecosia. Spotify, Youtube, Satchel One, Google classroom, Crunchyroll, Amazon and Vinted
- What are the main reasons for accessing these sites – for example, for information, to make purchases, communicate with friends or for entertainment?
- Mainly for communicating with friends and family, entertainment, research and purchasing items
- What other activities (if any) do you do whilst accessing the internet?
- I play MM2 on Roblox with my friends
- What different devices do you use to access the internet? What is your primary device for accessing the internet?
- My primary device for accessing the internet is my phone, secondary my PC.
- What social networks do you use regularly (e.g. Twitter, Instagram)? Why do you belong to these networks in particular?
- I use Whatsapp for calling and texting mostly, snapchat for the same reason.
- Instagram for posting photography, messaging friends and watching reels
Final section: reflection- How can you develop the amount and variety of media you consume?
- I can read more physical media like magazines and newspapers, also make things more educational sometimes
- What will you change in your media consumption habits this year as a result of studying A Level Media?
- I won't use Instagram as much as it is addicting and takes up time that could be used for studying/revising content.
- List three sources of media (websites/newspapers/apps/TV programmes etc.) that you will start to access this year that you haven't engaged with previously.

- BBC news- as I don't follow the news a lot. It's important to be aware of your surroundings and global news.
